Marketing

The Marketing team is responsible for protecting and elevating the Kalos Golf brand, ensuring a consistent and cohesive experience at every touchpoint — whether someone is discovering Kalos for the first time or returning as a longtime alumnus. Through strategic storytelling and thoughtful communication, the team highlights what sets Kalos apart: exclusivity, access, and a connected community of passionate golfers and travelers. Every message reinforces our values and identity, attracting the right new guests while deepening engagement with our loyal travelers. The focus is always on quality over volume, creating content that sparks curiosity, builds loyalty, and fosters lasting connections.

Kalos Golf seeks an experienced Growth Marketing Manager to help drive demand and occupancy across select journeys departing within the next 10-12 months. Reporting to the VP of Marketing, the Growth Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and executing marketing initiatives that attract qualified travelers and support the continued growth of our luxury travel programs.

This role serves as a key contributor within the marketing team and is responsible for planning, launching, and optimizing campaigns across multiple channels. The position combines strategic planning, campaign management, performance analytics, creative execution, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver measurable business results. The role is based in our Chapel Hill office Monday through Thursday, with the option to work remotely on Fridays.

Position Responsibility

  • Own the marketing plan and occupancy goals for three to five priority trips departing within 10–12 months, maintaining focus as the wider team shifts to future departures.
  • Build destination-specific acquisition strategies targeting qualified prospects beyond the existing Kalos database.
  • Develop and manage integrated campaigns across paid and organic social, search, retargeting, landing pages, video, direct mail and lead nurturing, among others.
  • Translate remaining capacity, booking pace, audience fit and contribution potential into campaign priorities and budget recommendations.
  • Partner with Guest Services and the wider marketing team to convert qualified prospects from initial interest to conversation and reservation.
  • Own campaign measurement, reporting, attribution and optimization against incremental passengers, qualified inquiries, conversion, occupancy, revenue, gross margin contribution and return on spend.
  • Build repeatable playbooks to identify and support trips with remaining capacity earlier and more effectively.
  • Protect the Kalos positioning by driving demand without discounting, sales-led messaging or urgency that undermines the brand.

Experience & Qualifications

  • Significant experience in growth marketing, demand generation, performance marketing or integrated campaigns.
  • A track record of driving measurable revenue or customer acquisition for high-consideration products or services.
  • Strong paid social and digital acquisition skills, including audience development, retargeting, creative testing and budget optimization.
  • The ability to diagnose demand challenges, prioritize opportunities and build focused strategies rather than simply execute a content calendar.
  • Hands-on creative skills in copywriting, short-form video, imagery and digital content, with sound judgment about when to use external support.
  • Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite, particularly InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator, is a plus, but not essential.
  • Confidence with analytics, dashboards, conversion funnels and attribution, and the ability to translate insights into clear recommendations for senior leaders.
  • Excellent judgment and a polished, understated communication style suited to an affluent, relationship-oriented audience.
  • Experience in luxury travel, premium cruises, private clubs, resorts, destination marketing, active-adult lifestyle brands, financial services, luxury real estate or other businesses serving affluent consumers.
  • Golf knowledge or affinity is advantageous, particularly the ability to communicate credibly with a golfing audience.
  • Comfort with Mac and Microsoft Office; HubSpot and Copilot experience is a plus.
